I have a kodak Z812 IS. How do I put replacement battery door on?

open the screw on the bottom and slowly pull apart the two sides. Dp not pull them apart completely. the battery cover should pop out. do not use force. the same way insert the new one. Click the panels back in place and screws in .

Kodak Z812 shuts off automatically

It is a high-powered camera, also knows as a GREAT camera. Use CRV-3 lithium duracell batteries. I have the same camera and the same "problem", but when I use that battery it lasts forever.

Kodak easy share model Z812 IS. The battery is running out of charge quickly. You have to constantly change batteries.

check if the battery got hot means there is a shortage, if not Better use rechargeable battery and limit the usage of the camera, prolonged opens lessen the capacity of the batteries.

I have a Kodak Easy Share Camera ANd I have a charger, had this for 2 years and now the charger shows green when charged but will not open the lense

Mine did the same thing and I found out that the battery door was not completely closing. I put a rubber band around it to put pressure on the little battery door and it worked. My son's camera did the same thing.

About battery door broken in Kodak CX7330

I've got 16 of these cameras and had to replace the door on 3 of them. (I'm a teacher)

it is quite simple, but there are little tiny screws and some dexterity required!
to replace the battery door, you need a super small screwdriver (I've used both an eyeglass size and the screwdriver that came with my son's tech deck!) . you'll have to unscrew all of the small screws that hold on the back of the camera. remember which screws go to which hole - because some are longer than others. once the screws are out, you'll have to gently pry off the cover. carefully - you dont want to crack the camera case. you'll also want to be careful not to touch the sensor, which will be exposed with the case off.

NEXT you;ll have to pry the little spring out of the battery door to actually remove the old door. you'll probably have to use a screw driver to pull the spring on the new door back enough to fit back into the holes. that's really all there is to it. replace the cover and the screws.
