Question about Goldstar Over-the-Range Microwave
The door glass is stained brown - how do I clean it-It is in between the panes Yes I have the same problem. It appears that steam builds up and gets in between the door glass and then turns to rust in time. I checked with a local dealer and he said you can get an inner plastic liner, but itis impossible to install it without air bubbles. He also advised me that to install a new glass it is very hard to install without breaking the door when you take it apart. The only solution seems to install a brand new door which costs around $100.00 and he said the new door could also fog up like the original one. The solutions don't sound that encouraging.

Normallyyou have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo)and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.
Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

Tips for a great answer:

your appliance has absolutely no functions at all, remove it from the
mains supply, remove the case and see where the mains lead goes in to
the appliance and follow the cable until you find the main fuse.
ONLY USE THE SAME TYPE AND RATING OF FUSE TO REPLACE IT.
The usual cause of this fuse failure is the door switches are contaminated or sticking. Check the door switches before putting power back on to the appliance.
Hope this helps.
