The problem with that would possonly be the fan bearing is gone and gets load after a few min running or you have a ice build up and it is hitting the fan.To cheak on this you would have to remove the screws from the rear wall in the freezer compartmant and cheak. If there is ice build up you may need to order a defrost timer .If not you need a new freezer fan motor.hope this fixya:)

Refrigerator not cooling properly

Sounds like the motor. If the motor isn't running properly or at all then the cooling systems are affected and the fridge runs warm.

Freezer temp is below zero it is minus 2.00 will not adjust.

Negative 2 degrees is a good temperature for freezers, but if you want it warmer, raise the thermostat up (warmer temp) In the refrigerator section, & open damper (or set the adjuster knob in the back of the freezer to warmer). If the motor is making a loud noise, it may be hitting ice built up from the evaporator...thaw out.

Freezer not defosting

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that your Electrolux freezer, model# EW23CS65GS, is not defrosting and causing your freezer temperatures to raise as well as not produce ice. I suggest putting your freezer into a manual defrost cycle. You can do this by pressing and holding down the, refrigerator temperature up and down arrows simultaneously for 5-10 seconds. You will see a "D" appear on the freezer side display and an "F" on the refrigerator side. Let this run for 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes press and hold the refrigerator up and down arrows again. If you do not notice any change, try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at the circuit break, for 3-5 minutes. Once power is restored, give your refrigerator 24 hours to run through its normal cycles. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Both the refrigerator and freezer are set to the recommended temperature, however, the refrig unit is making a loud humming sound. This sound stops when you open the door, but begins again when it is...

There is a fan that blows cold air into the refrigerator. It usually stops when the door is opened. Check to see if it might be frozen with ice if the humming sounds abnormally loud. Usually if it freezes up you cannot hear the fan running and the refrigerator will not get cold enough.

Very loud noise whirling sound

Can you tell me where the sound is coming from? Like inside freezer or under refrigerator. Most sounds like you describe come from a fan motor and the fan blades are hitting something. Let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Hi Barikinas,
I would suggest you check the knock sensor and the egr operation as the knock sensor should send information to the computer to correct the ignition timing and the egr malfunction will prevent the temperature of the combustion chamber to lower thus producing more oxides and the temperature goes higher.
