Does the water run continuosly when you put the timer on or just all the time?If all the time you will need a water fill valve where the hot and cold connect. If only when you advance the timer then you will need a pressure switch the water level switch.Hope this helped:)

Water runs out and never fills the washer continues to run water but does not close off to allow fill

Debbie,
Check your drain hose to make sure that it has not been shoved to far down your drain pipe. Also check to make sure that the top of your drain pipe is at least 30" above the floor, but check with a plumber from your area to make sure of what the codes are in your area. Usual for a lot of areas is a minimum of 30" up to 48" above the floor. If your hose is pushed down too far into the stand pipe or it is too short, you will cause a siphon effect and that will keep water from filling your machine. Hope this helps!

Why is my washer constantly filling with water

Hello Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your post!

I see that you are experiencing an issue with your washer continuously filling with water. Here are some basic troubleshooting tips to help resolve this issue:

·Is the incoming water flow normal? If it is, does the fill water continue to enter your washer? If yes, disconnect power from your washer. Did the water fill stop? If so, a service technician may need to check the pressure sensor or switch to determine if it needs replacement.

·If your water flow is abnormal, double-check water faucets to ensure they are in the "on" position. If on, your incoming water pressure may be above 30 PSI and could need adjusting. Check for any kinked or blocked water hoses or clogged water screens. If you've cleared the water screen and/or unblocked any kinked water hoses, and the problem still persists, it could possibly be a water inlet valve assembly.

·If you have checked all of the above, your washer may need a main control board replacement. I would recommend contacting a qualified service technician to further assist you in diagnosing this issue.

Hope this helps!

The washer run and half way it stop showing e-10

Hi Don Chaffin - If you are receiving an error code E10, it typically indicates that the washer machine is taking a long time to fill (or is continuing to fill). Here are some basic troubleshooting tips to help resolve this issue:

· Is the incoming water flow normal? If it is, does the fill water continue to enter the washer? If yes, disconnect power from the unit. Did the water fill stop? If so, a service technician may need to check the pressure sensor or switch to determine if it needs replacement.

Maytag ensignia top load washer will not fill with water at start of the cycle?

The drain hose has to be at least 30 inches above the floor or gravity will drain the machine. Also: If the water hose is jammed into the drain a siphoning affect will occur in some instances.

Hose too low to the floor. Must be 30 inch above the floor at least.

My washer drains while its filling

Raise your drain hose up to a higher level. The gravity is letting the water run out because the hose is too low. Drain hose must be at least 30 inches above the floor but no higher than 5 feet.

The washer fills but before it agitates the water pumps out and then keeps repeating this process. Once in awhile it agitates for a short time.

This is an easy fix. Your drain hose must be 30 inchs above the floor. If it is not at least 30 inchs above the floor, gravity will drain out the water at a given point and then the water level will drop sufficiently for pressure to cause the motor to stop and the water valve filling again. Simply make an adjustment on the placement of the drain hose to prevent the auto siphoning of the drain hose.

Continues to fill, not holding water

The drain hose might be too low. Make sure the drain hose is at least three feet above the floor.

If the above adjustment doesn't produce positive results, replace the control.

Water runs contiuously... tub never fills...cycle doesn't start.

Hi, You need to reset the drain hose. It needs to be over the water level in the machine. If you have it in a sump pump, it needs to be out of the water in the sump. If I can help you further, please let me know

Thanks
Vic
