Question about Acer Aspire 3000 Notebook
Hi I am having a hideous time with my Acer Aspire 3000 which has been turning itself off for some time now. I read in a blog that it could be the fan overheating and to sit the laptop on a baking tray to increase air circulation. This worked for a few weeks but then the problem started again. Now it has got to the stage where the computer won't get past the startup phase before switching itself off and then on again repeatedly. I am able to enter the setup screen and the laptop will remain powered while in setup. Unfortunately I don't have recovery disks. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this is frustrating the hell out of me.

I was reading your post and I have the EXACT same problem. I did a deep cleaning but I still have the same problem. Do you know of any other alternatives? Would you mind sharing?
