Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
When I turn my Nintendo DS on the green light only stays lit for roughly 3 seconds and then turns off. If the unit is open the top screen will flash when it's turning off but that is the only action from either of the screens at all. I have switched the battery and there was no change. Any ideas?
Your problem is a blown fuse, either the F1 or F2 fuse. There are 2 solutions
1. Sell it on eBay! this is by far the easiest thing to do. there are many people out there that buy, fix, and then resell DS's as a living, but if you want to give it a try, then go to number 2
2. You can repair one or both of the fuses, which requires skill, a meter, a soldering rod, and a lot of time and patience
if you want to go ahead and try to solder the fuses, then just notify me and I will go into very specific detail for you about this difficult procedure
