Hi, I'm not sure I understand your question. It sounds to me like you haev a 1989 GMC truck, and you've installed a JVC CD player in it. The CD player has a blue and white wire coming out of the back, and you would like to know where it goes and what it does. Is that right? If so, then the blue/white wire labeled "Remote" coming out of your CD player is intended to turn on an external amplifier or some other "remote device". If your truck has a power antenna installed, this would be the wire that tells your power antenna to extend and retract. Many stereos have two of these wires - one for the power antenna and one for an amplifier. If you don't have an amplifier or power antenna, you don't need to do anything with this wire, just leave it alone and make sure it doesn't touch any bare metal behind the radio. Hope this helps.

It sounds you are using an amplifier and using the blue wire (power antenna remote turn on) instead of the blue/white wire (amplifier remote turn on). Try hooking up the blue/white wire to turn your amp on. When leaving tuner mode, the blue wire shuts off, turning off the amplifier.

Both wires to brake light switch are hot until brakes are pressed then one looses power. 1989 gmc truck need to wire powerstop trailor brake module. any suggestions

you'll have to find the wire that is hot when the brake pedal is pressed. hook the red wire from the module to this, the black wire will go to battery hot, the white will go to ground and the blue wire will go to the trailer connector for the rear electric brakes.

it sounds like you are going through an external amp. try using the blue/white wire instead of the blue wire. the blue wire is antenna remote turn on. the blue/white is amplifier remote turn on. the blue wire turns off when leaving tuner mode.

The remote wire is blue, or blue white. If it has both, use the blue white.

Where doi hook up the system remote control wire

on your wiring harness behind the stereo, you should have 2 blue wires. one solid, and a second blue wire with a white line on it. the one with the white line is your remote turn on. the other one is for a power antenna, and wont work to keep your amp on.

Cd player plays, but no sound comes out of speakers.

Look at the enwood. I bet you have the remote wire hooked to the blue wire insted of the blue/white wire. The blue wire goes dad when you play a cd as it is for a power antenna. The blue/white wire is your amp turn on.

Now, if you do not have a blue/whie and only blue, then obviously that circuit in the radio is bad in whch case your only other option s are either connecting it to an accesory fuse or using a toggle switch connected to power.

The yellow wire goes to + (hot) 12 volt constant, red wire goes to ignition switch, Hook up your amp together with the red wire
(switched) and the amp will come on with the ignition switch.
Blue and white wire is for the power antenna.

Red (accessory wire)- goes to hot wire that can be turned off.
Yellow (constant wire) goes to your cigarette lighter
Blue/white is your amplifier remote turn-on wire.
Probably have green and green/white- brown and brown/white-white and white/black, and another color for speaker wires.
You can hook one pair up to your cd player and find out if it's hooked up to the right speaker channel.
Orange (remote antenna) wire.
