Question about Kodak EasyShare Z710 Digital Camera
The other day i broke off the hinge on the side of the camera that protects to USB outlet on the camera. Now when i plug in the USB camera i dont get the scanner/camera wizard come up like it use to. has the broken hinge got something to do with it not working? How can i get the wizard to recongnise the camera again. I have troubleshooted and the USB outlets on the tower are all working.
The hinge itself shouldnt affect the usb port but if it was broken off by quite a force, then it possibly took some damage. I'd suspect you'd be able to see if it was from a close and careful visual inspection.
Connect the camera to the computer and then, and only then turn the camera's power on.
Try another USB cable yet?
Tried it on another computer yet?
