Question about Galaxy Radios DX-95T Base CB Radio
Ranger 6900f-25 receives fine bit has only about a needle's width of Am carrier and a very slight swing of SSB modulation with a loud whistle. Finals, driver, predriver, diodes at the final and driver and the audio chip have been replaced. The voltages at the test points 7,8,and 9 are not awhat they should be according to the service manual. Any ideas?
Either the transmitter is grossly out of alignment or one or more of the new parts are already defective.
power = voltage X current. it's usually what happens when someone attempts to repair a piece of equipment like this by "swapping parts" while not in posession of the necessary test equipment and technical expertise.

Connect one end of your coaxial cable to the output port on your SSB
Transmitter. Connect the other end of the cable to the coaxial input port on
your RF demodulator.
Connect one end of your 1/4 inch audio cable to the audio output port on
your RF modulator. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the audio input
jack on your amplifier.
Turn on your SSB transmitter, RF modulator and amplifier. Adjust your
SSB transmitter modulation by adjusting the knob on your RF
