Drain hose is either too low(must be 30 inches above the floor) or the water level switch is not detecting water pressure. Remove the hose from the switch and blow the sand out of the line. Empty the water and retry.OVERFILLS - 51856c5.jpg

There is an adjustment on the side of the IM face to set fill time. Either that or partially close the saddle valve to cut back on the water flow.

Watrer in dishwasher does not drain out and overfills and floods the floor (built in Whirlpool dishwasher)

was this just installed or is it and old unit, sounds like the float is jammed with ether soap or some small item, check the dome shaped cover/protector or open up unit and look underneath for the float switch and manually push it listen for a click from the switch, it could be bad as well but very rare for them to fail

Refridgerator ice maker leaking water

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.

If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.

Washing machine overfills with water at start up after two years in use.

If the washing machine operates and cycles correctly, and only problem is overfills, then you have a bad water level switch or a bad membrane sensor (water level sensor).

If instead the machine get stuck on filling, and does not stop even if you advance timer, then the inlet valve is stuck on open, or the control board is faulty.

If machine is only two years old, call manufacturer and complain, even id limited warranty is one year, they may cover the part cost the same if they decide this was a factory defect (if it is inlet valve) coming up after two years.

Not enough model to get the wire diagram. It sounds like a diode is out in the water valve harness. If it is using the triple valve on that unit.
