Question about Washing Machines
I have taken my Kenmore 70 series washer apart to replace the gearbox/cupling part. I can not make the three long bolt housings meet the base in order to reassemble.
Hi, you talking about the bolts for the trasmission? You need to make sure the spin basket drive is pushed up into the brake housing far enough. Using the white lever on the basket drive, push up on it and turn it clockwise. It will be heavy but, it will ush up. Now you should be able to push the transmission up tight enough to put bolts in.
