My Harmon Kardon Drive and Play is stuck on a screen that says Please wait with a little 0, 2 in the bottom corner. When i unplug and then plug back in, it does nothing. Once, when i started the car, it reset, did the Harmon Kardon logo, and then worked. Now its not working again. Is there anyway to reset it using only the knob with no access to the menus?

The error code mentioned above usually denotes a communication error a between the Drive + Play’s display and the commander knob. The first thing to check is that the commander knob is fully connected to the Drive + Play’s electronics enclosure. It might seem very tight, so giving the connector a twist while pushing it in can help ensure there is a complete connection. If you’ve confirmed the correct connection of the commander knob to the enclosure, then check to make sure that the commander knob cable isn’t pinched. Please refer to page 8 of your owner’s manual to confirm that you’ve routed your cable correctly. Then try a reset of the Drive + Play by disconnecting power to the brain, disconnecting your iPod, and disconnecting the display. Reconnect them in the following order: display, power, iPod. If you’re still having problems please consult with your dealer/installer or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
