Choose within this options with regards to your monitor: 1. You could replace your monitor with a new one. 2. Or you could send someone or send it to a technician to repair your monitor.
Boot Up Problem: 1. Try checking the Power Supply Unit (PSU) if it give out 12Voltz. If not you could replace it with new PSU. 2. Check the motherboard if there are some blown out Capacitors. If there is, send it to a technician to replace it. If none, replace your Processor. That is the defective. That causes the boot up problem.
On boot up screen. Of course it will not show a boot up screen because there is a problem on your monitor. And so, there is also a problem on your motherboard (Processor or Capacitor).
Hope this might help. Thanks.

Hp sr2023wm core just shuts down. boot back and shuts down again! runs for hrs and then poof down again. possibly a power suppy? or an overheating processor?

If you are overclocking the processor it may be overheating.

ALSO check that the fans are running, including the one on the processor AND vents and heatsink fins are not clogged with dust.

Also consider if your pwer to the unit MIGHT be glitching or brownout due to heavy loads or bad receptacles or wiring. Make sure you are not running off a switched wall receptacle.

I need a new mother board my mother board was

The first thing when spilling drink on your electronics is to remove ALL power.

Then wash the circuits with DISTILLED, de-ioniozed water till all traces of the spillage is gone. Next driop dry with one corner down and finally let dry a few days.

The only damage the spillage usually can do is electrolysis from the power source. Circuit boards are washed with water during manufacturing. Use DE_IONIZED !!!

A8N-SLI Deluxe asus motherboard wont boot

first you want to make sure
the power supply works, they can stay on for a week then die, then work again , then die

then disconnect the cd rom, and see if it still has the same problem,

next could be the processor , this would be the cheapest part next in line,
processors get warm when they work
if not , you would replace that before motherboard

you can also disconnect the hard drive a while
to make sure there are no config errors

1999-2000 compaq processor board is not responding

Get a boot disk and try booting using disk. If it boots the mother board works. If you boot to a:\ prompt then type dir C:\. If your hard drive is working you should see a list of files. if not replace hard drive and load new OS.

Mother board

The motherboard is bad, you can try taking out the battery and only hooking up the Ac Adaptor to see if the problem goes away but if it doesn't then the motherboard they replaced it with is faulty.

Actually since water was spilled on it beforehand. Take out the hard drive and dvd drive and try powering it up again just to rule out the hard drive or dvd drive shorting out the computer.
