Question about JVC KW-NX7000 Car DVD Player
Hi, you will have to connect the handbrake wire to the actual handbrake sensor wire that is located on the base of the handbrake(emergency brake assembly). if you have a traditional handbrake that is located under the dash to the left of the foot brake pedal, you will find the sensor wire connector on the back of the assembly. just connect to the sensor wire. if your hand brake is in between the driver and passenger seat, just remove the handbrake housing and, the sensor wire will be located behind the hand brake Assembly. you cant miss the wire connector. just splice into this wire and connect.
Be sure and connect the wire that's coming form the deck to the negative wire and not the positive side of the emergency brake switch.
