Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WD63 Front Load Washer/Dryer
My machine is making a horrible banging noise when spinning. When i turn the drum by hand it is stiff and makes a clicking noise. can it be fixed or is it more cost effective to replace? Thanks
This is your that are gone these are at the back of your drum on the inside if these are gone then these will need replacing by a professional its a complete strip down aswell as stripping inner and outer drum apart from each other but this is a costly job £125+sometimes more economical to replace the washer only £100 more to get a new washer and have 12months warranty this way also if you have it done you will lose your washer for about 3days. to make sure they have gone take the lid off and look down to the middle of the drum at the back there should be some rusty water marks going down the drum also you can place your fingers to the inside of the washer while having your palm on the front of the washer if it lifts its the bearings from what you say though it will be the bearings m8
