Ok - the manual can be found
here. Look at page 27 onwards - it explains pretty well how to set up encryption on your wireless network.
Try to use WPA or WPA2 (you have to check of your computer can handle that). Try to avoid WEP, because it is not secure enough anymore.
Do the setup while your computer is connected via an Ethernet cable, otherwise you loose the connection when the settings are saved.
Tip: save the key in a notepad file and copy it later when your computer asks for it - that way you don't have to retype it.
Also - use a
strong password:Upper and lower case letter mix and numbers - something like (Vg5iem3ohPhohs89oJUp4k) - you get the idea: something that is not easy to guess.
