Is there a photo or diagram that shows the order of hardware to reinstall the rear wheel on an Currie electric scooter, Model EZip500

I removed the rear wheel, chain drive, brakes and metal guard on an Currie Industries, eZip500 electric scooter in order to replace the damaged rear wheel. Unfortunately, I do not recall the proper sequence for each piece, especially the bearings, washers and nuts... and the photo I took is not clear. So please; I am looking for either a diagram, photo or a how to video so I can re-assemble the scooter back in safe order so my son can ride it again!!... Thank you!

SOURCE: Chain & Sprocket turn, but Rear Wheel Not engaging/spinning

The problem is witht he flywheel on the rear wheel assembly. I had mine fixed by a professional last night (at a bike store). Razor uses a very cheap spring that is designed to fail and then to top that off did not use enough bearings as well (12 bearings short out of the factory). My son had also sprayed WD-40 all around the back axle (trying to make it faster). This is bad because, the bearings are packed in grease and WD-40 is a de-greaser. Never get WD-40 anywhere near your back axle!!! Anyway, the flywheel was way easier to remove than I thought. It is threaded onto the rim's axle shaft and just screws off. Once you get the flywheel, off you have to take it apart, fabricate a new spring (my son's new spring came from an old 10 speed's tensioning spring), reset the 3 pawls, repack the bearings, put the flywheel back together, and screw it back onto the wheel. I will post a YouTube video on this later. Hopefully this is enough info to get you started.

I have an ActiveCare Medical Mobility Scooter - 4 Wheel Pilot Mobility Scooter (Model 2410), and do not know how to disassemble for transport in a 2004 Buick LaSabre. Is there an instruction manual...

Hi Rosemary. The best way is to remove the seat by releasing the lever to turn it slightly, then lifting it straight up and off.
Next take off the battery cover, disconnect the batteries and remove them from the scooter. This will make the machine much lighter and easier to lift or push up a ramp.
Next release the steering column and fold down towards the rear. Place a piece of packaging or similar under it, so that it doesn't rub on the body panels and scuff the paint.
Good luck. Neil.

Schwin scooter not running properly

If the battery is old its likely that it needs to be replaced. Also, if batteries sit in the cold in the winter or are exposed to high heat they can be damaged. Try checking out http://www.batteryinternational.com/electric-scooter-batteries.html for a scooter replacement battery.

Gt trailz currie scooter needs good battery

Hi, Is this the 12 volt 10 amp battery? If so go to ebay to buy this it will be much cheaper. You DO NOT have to buy the battery from Currie. For troubleshooting that control box, I will give you an link for it. http://www.electricscooterparts.com/troubleshooting.html

Electric scooter problem

Yes, you will need to get a charger based on the number of 12 volt batteries in the Scooter. I recommend TNC SCOOTERS to buy the chargers. Very good service and lower than most prices.
