Question about Refrigerators
I just bought an RV that was sitting untouched in someone's backyard for 6 years and it has a Dometic RM2607. When we first got it the power wouldn't even turn on and after I tinkered with it I got it to come on and the freezer got cold on electric for a while but not the fridge, and now the next day I can't get either to cool on gas or electric. What should I do?
Ae359t is right replace the board, its not the cooling unit itself nor does it need to be turned over upside down, you only mention the controls are wacky, get the bottom board for the $99 price, if that does not fix the unit replace the upper eyebrow board, very seldon do upper boards go out.

I had the check light problem with our RM2607 but installed a Dinosaur board. After install, no more check light issues. The board is $99 plus shipping from http://www.partsfortechs.com/asapcart/micro-p711-p-6.html.
That's the best price I could find anywhere. Pay the extra for the Dinosaur and skip the generic Dometic board, IMHO.
