Question about Philips Magnavox 51MP392H Rear Projection Television

Hey Guys, If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I am attempting to remove the rear cover of my phillips projection TV Modle number 60PP9202. the TV is brighter white in high color "white" areas of the screen. Around white shirt's cars etc. I have adjusted every setting and it has not fixed it. I am attempting to clean it out i see dust in it from a crack in the side. can i wipe the lens with rags or what? Any help is apperciated.

Remove all connections from the tv other than rf cable. This is an hdmi lockup problem sometimes related to component video inputs depending on firmware version.

Let me know do you have related service manual of Sony KP-57WS500 to guide you further?
Without service manual it would be difficult for you to understand our directions like what to check and where to go in TV etc.

Need the correct convergence IC number for my Phillips Phillips Magnavox rear projection tv P6034C. I am getting the double picture syndrome . It also appears as if I cannot adjust the red convergence...


Thats not the full model number should be something like 43P6034C or etc. Please respond to this same post and I will let you know the correct Ics and resistors because phillips / magnavox will always burn at least 2 often 4 of the convergence resistors as well.

Same problem... I pulled out the second electronic board going from right to left and see a burned diode at position 3307. the screws are identified by little arrows pointing to the screw holes. However I would be surprised if its the convergence board most times its the Convergence ICs located on the sub board

Hey, I had the same problem with blue and red lines and this post helped me bigtime ! Just adjust the color your having problems with. To solve this problem all you need is a flat and phillips screwdriver. Right below your speakers on the right and left side are tabs. Pull out the tabs and remove the screw on eachside. Once that is done remove the speaker cover and you will see a fiber board cover in the middle of the tv, there will most likley be twist ties holding some wires, to make it easier to work remove the ties.
