The out of service lights are blinking. It happened once before and I gave it a through cleaning and it went away. This time I had cleaned it thoroughly a few days ago it has been working fine and this morning after pumping out a couple of espressos it went into out of service mode. I opened up the side door and removed the brew group and gave it another cleaning (which it didn't need as I had done this a couple of days ago) put it back together turned it on and it went back into out of service mode. Please help.
If it is under warranty ,call the manufacturer .There are many causes to the service code , coffee beans ground too fine ,setting for 3 beans may be too much if the beans are small, try setting with one bean...
Valve, round cover , spring loaded , on top of brew group dirty, metal valve pin may be covered with deposits from coffee oils . check manual or call a service center , screen of bottom piston plugged with coffee oils , to silver screen plugged with coffee oils .
none of the super-automatics like oily , shiny or over roasted beans .

Being that you just started using it I would not be concerned. You did the correct thing by cleaning the brew group. Check on your screen under total coffees. We usually recommend you change the brew group every 10,000 cups.
Make sure you descale the machine and you can try using the cafiza tablets to clean your brew groups internal passages.

SOURCE: portafilter loose in group head
Hi,
Do you only have the top off or do you take out the boiler too?
if you took out the boiler then i think the holder is in wrong position, make sure the gasket in the holder are in place, if not then the portafilter do not lock tight.
Hope this will help you.
Best regards

Hi,
Put in the driptray and dregs box to the machine, close the door and power on the machine. When the machine not get any noise more, open the door and take out driotray and dregsbox. Put the brewing unit on place and the same with the driptray and dregsbox.
Best regards

I have solved this problem many times...
First remove steam knob by depressing small clip on shaft of knob and pulling the knob out...gently. Note where the dials in the bean tank are set to, you will have to position these knobs to the same position upon reassembly.
Remove the 2 bean tank screws and remove the bean tank.
Remove the 2 screws holding on the top cover.
Lift the top cover off enough to get to the circuit board.
Unplug one of the 3 wire connectors along the top of the circuit board, turn the machine on and it will start to turn the splined shaft.
At the 180 degree point turn the machine off.
If it does not cycle through to 180 degrees then try the other 3 wire plug... one of them will be the right one.
Put the brew group back into the machine and reassemble.
This repair will take you less than 10 mins. from start to finish.
