What would be causing the fan to run lower speed than normal but jump up intermittently. other items show same ...?

Many electrical problems and alternator fails are due to poor ground connections. First make sure both battery terminal connections are good by taking them off and cleaning (black or green are really not good) and coating with di-electric gell. then disconnect ground wire on engine end and do same. then find wire to fuse box and body and clean as well. often there is a wire from engine to body somewhere under hood. you can't tell by looking, they must be taken off and filed/sand papered.

HP1020 fax answer phone etc

Digital answer phones record the message on a memory chipset in the same way old tape machines did using a magnetic support. Quality can only be improved by the technology itself, problem is with your specific machine.
If you have a broadband filter try replacing it.
Test the machine on a different phone socket and see if it makes any difference.
Check on your answering machine settings, you should find an option to control volume.

Digital Instrument panel want come on at times

Sound like an intermittent wiring problem.
1 First try replacing the fuse that supplies the pannel. Be sure it fits smugly. I fthet does not work
2 Try removing and reconnecting all the plugs going to the pannel (with power off. Then power it up and see.
3 I that doesnt fix it try opening the pannel and see whether you see any poor solder jounts cloe to the connectors (poor joints are sometimes cracled and sometimes just look a dull grey colour) If found resolder ant try again.

Is there a way to make the sound of the reverb on my deville 2-12 sound better ?

modding the reverb takes some electronics experience...if you know where the reverb circuit is. all you can really do is change the input caps that make the tone bright or dull... larger uf for dull... lower cap values for bright... it's in the signal circuits... dont mess with power caps. The schematic shows op amp into the tank and out of the tank to another op amp...Output of the tank to opamp.. Id double that input cap ( 330 pf ) to see if you get more response into the opamp... then look at the circuit C17-C18/R33-R34 894cf4a0-46f7-4f21-9667-be620f05b31d.png

DGB-900bc will not grind; It also does not pull the beans into the hopper to grind them. It used to make a loud grinding sound when it ground the beans, but now it makes just a dull sound, like the grinder...

I experienced the same problem after many uses. You need to pull the hopper off and clean out the path the grounds take to the filter basket. It is no doubt clogged up. I used compressed air to really clean it out good.

Good Luck

1990 Lexus LS 400 Right Front Suspention Thud Noise

most probably a torn lower suspension arm rubber bush that would not show up if the car was on a 4 post hoist
there is a problem there as the noise would not be evident if there was nothing wrong
different tire pressures will give different noise when hit with a tire lever ( a trick used by truck drivers to check for flat/ under inflated tires
good tire solid sound
low pressure tire a dull sound

Low sound volume when making a call

be sure there's nothing covering the speaker when you're talking. i would try looking in the tones settings if you have that. but some phones just don't have really good audio, but if this is a recent problem, then i'd suggest taking it to the store and getting it looked at

Poor sound quality

This is just a guess but the dolby sound on my system is bad however when I switch to regular "stereo" sound it improves. See if your audio set up has a choice of sound and try them all.
