Question about Aiwa NSX-DS55 CD Shelf System
I have a Aiwa 3 disk changer that is opening and shutting fine..It just wont play the disk.. It will go to the disks like it is trying to play but instead it just spins about 3 x's short spins and then changes to another one and does the same thing..any help is appreciated!!..Brian
This can be fixed by adjusting the POT on the rear side of the laser. My Aiwa had the same issue and there is an orange screw on the rear of the laser. Turn it about 1/16 - 1/8 turn COUNTER clockwise.
Please understand, this is a temporary fix, and will eventually ruin your laser mechanism completely. The company is out of business and the unit is 10 years old, so I didn't much care...perhaps I will run across a CD assembly I can replace it with, but this is a temporary fix for this issue.
