Problem for Fujitsu AMILO PC Laptops

Hard drive making noise

I have a Sony Vaio VGN N365E laptop and i started hearing a whistling noise while my laptop is operating, i showed it to our IT expert in our company and he asked me to get a diagnostics CD and boot from and run some tests? Don't know where to go from there............can someone help? Where can i get the diagnostics CD?

You think its the hard drive i think its the colling system and do not know what gives here? But this tech wanted to give you the easy answer to blow you off.. But a dianostic CD to fix a hard drive noise I doubt it. Check fans,check moving parts. If the hard disk is not giving your problems check other things

The diagnostiocs cd is generally provided by the manufacturer or sometimes it is within tour own computer{like dell computer},,best way to know it is u call up the tech support guys of Sony and ask them tohelp you..
