Asus k8v se deluxe motherboard

Are there dp switches on an asus k8v se deluxe motherboard that alter the cpu speed so it can run at max

    The main and only problem is to get the cpu to run at it's proper speed?

    I've tried all those other tweeks before.

    It's an engineering sample and can't get it to run faster than 2200 when it's full speed should be 2400.

Yes as long as there are SATA ports on the motherboard it will work fine.
You will need to find out if your graphics card is pci-e or agp and make sure it matches the motherboard.

Asus K8V SE Deluxe - will not turn on

it should have pins to reset it touch the two reset pins with screwe driver to activate it if still gont work you have a bios problem

Sounds like your board may have fried. Try to hook it up to just the power supply and see if you get anything from that.

Cpu test

on the top of the screw to prevent the metal screw to ground in the motherboard. Make it sure that the screw only grounded to the casing. Check also some metal in the back of the casing maybe it also the cause of the motherboard grounded.

System failed cpu test

I think the problem is the mounting screw of the motherboard to the casing is grounded. You need to put some plastic insulator to the metal screw to avoid the grounded in the board.
