the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Enable hardware acceleration

Make a right click on the desktop and then choose Properties and then click on Settings.
Then go in Advanced tab and then click on Troubleshooting.
Here you must have a tick on Hardware Acceleration graphic card and put the No to full.
Then reboot your system and then check back again.
Hardware acceleration increases the performance of certain functions, mainly graphical functions, by putting some of the processing requests through the video card instead of the computer processor.
At times, hardware acceleration can cause problems or conflicts with a particular program or computer function.
You can disable hardware acceleration in order to troubleshoot the issue, or if you do not need the performance gain provided by hardware acceleration

Right click a blank area on your Windows Vista desktop.
Choose the "Personalize" option.
Click "Display Settings."
Click "Advanced" and "Troubleshoot."
Select the "Change Settings" button.
Disable hardware acceleration by sliding the acceleration slider all the way to the left.
Click "Apply" and "OK."
Depends on your version of Windows, but the directions in the middle of this page might help.

Hello try to install the newest driver from here:

This is the 32 bit version.

Here is the 64 bit version:

If i am wrong by my selection, use autodetect here:

You have know the right driver for your windows system.

A 32 bit version will not work on a 64 bit system and so on.

The yellow triangle, means the driver is wrong or malfunctioning.

Please uninstall ALL old nvidia software, before you install the new.

Hope this will get you running again

I try to run a game but it seems he needs hardware acceleration graphics. i want to know if there is a program i can install to make the game work or my computer needs a sort of component.

Hardware acceleration is computed via a graphics card, a physical piece of equipment. A program would be Software acceleration and this is not needed to run the game.

Yes you are quite correct your computer does need a component, it is called a graphics card. There are many graphics cards available, some more powerful than others. Contact a computer store, look around and talk to them about upgrading your computer with a suitable graphics card.

They may need to see your computer to know what slot type of graphics card your computer accepts.

Take care and happy gaming!

My graphics are not working properly and i keep gtting black squares and it keeps getting lines on the screen how do i fix it

Hello my friend this is looks like a graphic cards problem but we are going to check few things before change it.First you need to do is to turn off hardware acceleration-
  1. Click on Start > Control Panel.
  2. In the classic view, double click on the Display icon.
  3. Select the Settings tab and click on the Advanced button. The Advanced Settings dialog box appears.
  4. Click on the Troubleshoot tab.
  5. You can disable the hardware acceleration completely by dragging the slider to the extreme left of the scale. You can also choose to turn down the hardware acceleration by selecting an intermediate value.
If the issue is resolved with hardware acceleration turned off, the source of the problem could be old video drivers for your video adapter that you had.So we are going to the next step.
Uninstall all the graphic drivers and install the latest one,if you still have problem then you have to change your graphic card

This has happened to me before. I performed a defragmentation of my hard disk and the DVD then ran smoothly. Also ensure that the graphics acceleration is set to full.

To defragment your hard disk in Windows XP
Double click on "My Computer"
Right click on the hard disk (C:)
Click Properties
Click Tools
Click Defragment Now
Click Defragment

To set the graphics acceleration to full
Right click the desktop background
Click Properties
Click Settings
Click Advanced
Click Troubleshoot
Drag the Hardware Acceleration slider to Full.
