Question about Insignia LCDTV26 26 in. Television
On you remote control or panel buttons press the menu button. Using you on screen menu, use the up and down arrows to find the Settings Function, use right arrow to enter sub-menu. Use the up and down arrows to find the aspect ratio setting. Use the right arrow to enter the sub-menu.From here you can change the picture setting to : Normal wide 1: Wide 2 : Zoom: Cinema. Once you found your preferred viewing picture, set you choice with the enter button. Then use the menu or escape buttons to close the on screen menu. I hope this helps you with your problem.

This is called aspect Ratio and this will be if the movie is written in widescreen mode or regular TV mode and yes there is a setting to STREATCH the picture but you will not like the outcome.. There is nothing wroung with your TV also Digital TV's are not in that "widescreen format" so there is not much you can do but get used to the mode or check for a streatch option.. Thanks.
