Make sure the window unit is evenly placed inside the window frame.Just a slight twisting of the housing will cause the fan blade to scrape the housing. Make sure that the fan blade has no come loose from the fan motor shaft if that does not solve the problem. Also make sure the window unit tilts slightly downward so that any water from the condensate produced inside the home on the condenser coil can drain down the slope to the outsidelike the way explained. I have also seen units that were positioned correctly but the drain trough is blocked and will not allow the water to drain outside the house. Let Me Know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Portable ac Danby Premiere DPA110CB5BP spitting water while it fans.

If you are referring to the unit doing this on the outside of the structure, this is normal. the "Hamster Wheel" is designed to carry a small amount of water and create a light amount of water to go onto the condenser to help with the evaporation and cooling process. If this is on the inside of the structure, the unit may not be level or another issue causing improper drainage.

Kenmore dishwasher making "spitting" or "sputtering" noise during operation

The easiest way to confirm if the arms are blocked is by turning all the arms in the machine to a certain same position and running the machine for a few minutes in its wash cycle. Open the door and see if the arms have moved. If not, check all the holes in the arms for blockages. Sometimes its very difficult to clean them. You may have to poke a pin or something into hole and then shake the obstruction out through the large inlet hole under the spray arm itself.

My LG air conditioner is spitting out water and making a weird noise....i took off the front panel and theres a lot of water in what i guess is a condensation pan....ive tried drying the little bit i can...

Go around the back side and unplug the drain hole! These are designed to drain out the back through a hole in the drain pan. Maybe your unit is tipping forward and not draining like it should. You can use a coat hanger or wire or even a shop vac to remove debris from the drain.

I'm not sure if this is the same model I have, but

hi ' most of window type aircondition produces noise not same as the split type , but i see you have problem of the water that spits to your room, may be you can check the mounting of the unit, the proper mounting is it must be a little slant making the water run to its drainage . the edge of the casing must a little bit dropped lower in mounting.

My ac is spitting watter by the vent, and making noise i think it happends when the fan inside hits the water that acumulates inside is there something i can do to fix this and make the water go out

The AC fan is blowing the water that has condensed on the cooling pipes. It is possible that there is clogging of dirt in the fins of the cooling pipe'
this results in water logging. The filters must be clogged and dirt has accumalated.Use a good air spray or a water jet to clean. The condensed water must flow to the rear of the unit to drain out .{A/C must be fitted slightly tilted.}.Hope this helps.

Started making a noise, spitting water from vent

there is a drain on the pan under the cooling coil - your "blades" if you are looking in from the front cover - the opening could be stopped up going to the back of the unit - you will have to pull it out of shell to see drain line

Droplets of water are coming from the vents and it's making a noise like something is rattling around inside. What could this be?

The problem with this unit is that the evaporator, or the part of the air conditioner that 'creates' the colder air is not draining correctly. Pertaining to a window unit, it needs to be installed correctly with the correct amount of tilt toward outside, to allow the evaporator condensation water to drain. You may also want to check to make sure there aren't any plugged drain holes in the air conditioner housing.

The rattling you hear is most likely the blower fan spinning against the held water inside the unit.

I hope this helps! :)

Friedrich air conditioner

I used to be a "Factory Authorized" person, and I bet Friedrich would rather do a warranty call than have you return the machine for a refund. Phone them to see if they are cooperative. When the tech gets there, you can ask ALL your questions and point out every little sticky thing. That's his job!

The tech will be able to get parts and know how to adjust things.

For the second person, you have to look into the space where the fan is hitting something. A mirror and a flashlight will be needed. I kind of get a feeling the water isn't draining fast enough. Look for a plastic tube from the front water pan to the rear water pan. They get plugged up.

Why doesn't my cover fit tightly? 5.5 Qt Rival Crock Pot - lid does not fit tightly and hot water is bubbling and spitting out of the crock pot making a mess and an unsafe situtation...help! Is this a...

There's nothing you need to do differently except place the cooker where a little splashing won't hurt anything. This is typical of all crock pots. The cover fits loosely because it must allow steam to escape. When water turns to steam, it expands. If not allowed to escape, the steam pressure would explode the vessel. The simplest and cheapest way to let the steam escape is to let the lid lift freely. Some of the steam re-condenses into water as it escapes, and then it sputters and splashes as more steam comes out. They could make a more complex system to control the mess, but then a crock pot would be bigger, more expensive, and harder to wash. I know this might not be the answer you hoped for, but it's a truthful answer to your question so I hope you'll rate it accordingly.
