Speed dial I'm trying to program speed dials into my phone using 500-999. For instance, we have a store 2. I want to be able to press speed 502 and have it dial to store 2. That is our lowest store number. The speed dial for the highest store number would be speed 688. How do I program these numbers into the phone?

I have posted a video showing how to input telephone numbers into your directory. You decide which speed dial entry to use with which phone number. To access Speed dial easily either program a soft key to be an SPD button or the short code is 16followed by the speed dial number. look at 'abbeytel' on YouTube or www.abbeytelecom.com.

How do I store a number for autodial at a later date?

Autodial? You're going to use one of the 8 buttons for autodial or are you trying to put system speed dialing in? The phone buttons are easy if you dial "9" to get an outside line. You press PROGRAM a button, and dial 29 plus your number and STORE.

Now, obscurely, you can program one of the 8 buttons to SAVE a number. Thats done by PROGRAM the button 5 STORE. When you dial a number that you want to save, you press Autodial and SAVE (the button you programmed) and it will save that number under the button.
Now, grab a line and press the SAVE button and it will dial your saved number.

Last, if you're not totally bored, you can store 10 Personal speed dial numbers on your phone. They program by 2* (0-9) number # and are dialed by pressing # (0-9).

Yeah. BTW this is an instruction set for a TA-624, common for the type of phone you have. I think it applies to most of the TA series KSU's.

Hoi have got speed dial on the main switchboard, so how do i do speed dial from other extensions

There is system and personal speed dials. System is programmed from the main phone and is dialed by using the AUTODIAL button and dialing a 2 or 3 digit code, depending on which system the 7730 is connected to. The other is PERSONAL speed dial, programmed on the 12 buttons on the right side of the phone. Those are programmed at each phone by using PROGRAM pressing the button and dialing an access code (usually 9) and the number then STORE.

I tried a search on your phone at Panasonic and I think there is a letter missing or something is missing.I tried several different options for searching for your model number but nothing would come up.I am providing a link to Panasonic for you so if you want to search it you can. There are many manuals available downloadable. You do need Adobe reader to look at them it appears. If you do not have it,just google it and it is a FREE,SAFE download with no junk ever popping up.Good luck! Panasonic KX-T7730- assigning speed dialing/one touch. I tried to press prog button and the one touch button..but it gives me an error message "not stored". How to solve this? I have 12 buttons to assign...

It says "Not Stored" because you haven't stored anything in it. There are 12 buttons on the left side with lights and 12 buttons for feature dialing on the right. If you want to monitor extensions, the buttons on the left are the ones to use. If you want to store speed dial numbers and feature codes use the ones on the right.

Left button programming. Press PROGRAM and the button. For extensions, dial 1+ext and STORE. For CO's, press 0+line number, for inside codes press 2+code, for outside number press 2+9+number, all followed by STORE.

Right button programming. For inside codes dial the code, for outside number press 9+number followed by STORE.

Note that you could also dial "8x" or "80x" in place of "9" for specific line access. Also, you can store extension speed dial numbers on the right, you just won't get a light indication when they're busy.

Uniden 900MHz phone model EX17960A

Using the Speed Dial Memory
Storing Numbers in Speed Dial Memory
Your cordless phone can store up to ten numbers in the speed dial memory.
1) When the phone is in standby mode, press the memory key. The talk/batt low LED flashes.
2) Use the keypad to enter the phone number; each number can be up to 20 digits.
7
3) If you need the phone to pause during the dialing sequence, press
the redial/p key to insert a two-second delay between the
numbers. You can enter multiple pauses to increase the delay.
Each pause counts as a digit.
4) Press the memory key again.
5) To store this number as one of the ten speed dial numbers, enter a
digit from 0 to 9. If there is already a number in that speed dial
setting, it will overwrite the previously stored number without
warning. You will hear a confirmation tone indicating that the
number has been stored.
NOTE: When storing numbers into memory, if the handset is idle
(i.e., no key is pressed) for more than 30 seconds, it will beep rapidly, and the phone
will return to standby mode.
Dialing a Stored Number
1) When the phone is in standby mode, press the talk key, and listen for a dial tone.
2) Press the memory key and enter the speed dial entry (0-9) that has the stored number you
want to dial. (If you enter a digit that does not contain a stored number, the handset will
beep rapidly, and the phone will not dial.)
