I have the EXACT same problem, my Wii will not turn on, the power light won't come on at all, different outlets don't change anything. Having my Wii being the only system pluged in doesnt help, I even tripped the breaker in my fuse box on and off and it still doesn't work. Is this the same **** as the microsoft bug, and by bug I mean the consol is given a rush job off the line and a million problems seem to spring up because no one has put out a decent working product since the Sega Genisis/super nintendo/atari?!

Wii won't turn on.

Reset the AC adapter by following steps below.

1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the
Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).

2. After you've waited a full 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter back in on both ends and check to see if the power light comes on.

Nintendo wii dont turn on it shows no power on console everything is plugged in and outlet works

Had this problem with ours. Did you try unplugging it for a couple minutes and plugging back in? This might let it reset itself. Hope this helps.

Console will not power up

Try to reset the AC adapter.
Unplug everything from the console, then unplug the power cord from the Wii and the wall outlet. Let it sit for 60 seconds and plug it back in.

Power Outage & Now Wii Won't Power Up...

When this same thing happened to me, I unplugged the Wii power supply from the wall (not just from the back of the Wii) and let it sit unplugged for about 10 minutes. When I plugged it back in, everything was fine.

Storm last night, now Wii won't power up

Unplug everything! There is a "breaker" in the power supply and it may need to be reset. Just unplug all cables from the TV and outlets. Let it sit for a couple hours then plug everything back in and it should work fine. If not then the power supply has shorted out due to a strong power surge. You can claim it under your home owners insurance or call Nintendo and try to get it replaced. Thanks! Good luck and happy gaming!!
