Water puddle forms on the floor in front of my GE TBX18SISERWN frig

lokk under the crisper draws,if there's water under them you have a blocked drain in the freezer.if there's no water under the crispers check the pastic water lines going to the water valve and the ice maker.if it's the drainyou have to pull everything out of the freezer, remove the inside back wall of the freezer and melt out all the ice with a hair dryer then you have to clear the drain,i use a steemer to do this, you can use a turkey baster or anything will push air down into the drain hole, pour hot water into the hole and when the water goes down the drain you'll know it's clear.before you start you can advance the timer into defrost to help melt out the ice or shut down the control or unplug it,you don't want it to be running while you take it apart.hope this helps you figure out where the water is leaking from.

Water comes off somewhere in the bottom of my fridge. what could have caused it?

When your refrig goes into defrost , the water runs down the back of the refrig ( inside ) and out to the drip pan thru a drain hole under the crispers . If water is under the crispers , remove the crispers and you should see a " cap " covering the drain hole . Sometimes crud will cover the slots where the water is supposed to drain , causing water to pool under the crispers . Just remove this cap , clean , and reinstall .

There is a huge puddle of water under the front of the fridge ,this unit doesn't have an ice maker what could this be ?

The drain is clogged. You will have to remove the back wall of the freezer to access the drain. There is a hole under the coils, that is th drain. Remove the ice on top of the drain and clean the drain out by forcing hot water down the drain with a turkey baser untill water flows freely. Then mix baking soda with water and pour it down the drain. http://www.appliance-repair-it.com/refrigerator-leaking.html

I have Magic chef Model # CTB1923ARW. We find water all over the refrigerator section. This unit does not have Ice maker

Remove the food and the ice maker from the freezer ( if equiped ) . Remove the rear freezer panel . Using a hair dryer , start in the middle , below the coils , defrosting , until you see the drain hole . Use hot water to help defrost the hole . Once water starts going thru the hole , use a small hose inserted into the hole , and blow thru , to remove any unseen debris in the drain line . Use an ALUMINUM or COPPER solid wire , 14-16 guage , with the insulation completely off , and insert one end into the drain hole as far as possible without any force . Lightly hook the other end over the glass rod (defrost heater) , above the hole . When refrig goes into defrost , the heat will transfer from the heater , to the wire , keeping the hole from freezing up again .

Hi,

The defrost drain is located just under the cooling coils in the back of the freezer. You will need to unload the food and remove the shelves from the freezer. Take the back panel off from inside the freezer and you will see a hole just below the coils. Flush it with hot water using a turkey baster or small hose. See the link below for more details.

We have a Magic Chef CTB177GR refrigerator (no ice maker hooked up) that leaks...from where I don't know. I took off the lower back cover, it is dusty but no water present there. I pulled out the crispers...

Good day.
Water can only come from one place, where the frost is melted off the coil in the freezer during it's normal defrost cycles that occur daily.
Two styles. One style allows this condensed water to run down the back wall of the inside of the refrigerator, under the crispers and thru a hole in the bottom of the cabinet into a drain pan positioned
under the hole.
Possible missing pan, not positioned properly, or crack in the drain pan itself.
The other style drains the water to a hose mounted on the back of the machine, down and then into the pan.
Possible hose blocked, not connected properly, or the other items as described in first style.
It's a look-see type of repair.

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back/bottom of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curtain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the fridge is because the water has been leaking into the freezer and down the vent into the fridge instead of running into the drain hole...Please feel free to comment again if you need any further assistance. Hi, The drain hole for this model is located in the control panel. There should be 2 - 4 screws that hold the panel up. remove those screws and the control panel should drop down. Flush the drain hole out and check up inside the hole leading to the freezer drain and see if there is ice inside the drain hole.
Most of the time, the drain inside the control panel is the problem.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.
