2005 Buick Rendezvous with over heating. Have flushed radiator, replaced t-stat twice. 1st start in morning has white smoke from exhaust, then no smoke after 30 seconds.

Is it low on coolant ? Do the cooling fans work ? What is the actual temperature of the engine ? what are you going by to say it's over heating ? temp Gauge ? Did you have the vehicle checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes ? White smoke then gone after 30 ,this is probably just condensation . The cooling fans on this vehicle should come on at a set temp.
The BCM and PCM/ECM command Low Speed Fans on under the following conditions:
• Engine coolant temperature exceeds approximately 106°C (223°F).
• A/C refrigerant pressure exceeds 1 310 kPa (190 psi).
• After the vehicle is shut off if the engine coolant temperature at key-off is greater than 140°C (284°F) and system voltage is more than 12 volts. The fans will stay on for approximately 3 minutes.
The BCM and PCM/ECM command High Speed Fans on under the following conditions:
• Engine coolant temperature reaches 110°C (230°F).
• A/C refrigerant pressure exceeds 1 655 kPa (240 psi).
• When certain DTCs set.

Having a professional type scan tool hooked up to view if the BCM/PCM are controlling the fans at the temp designed too and view what the actual temp is would be the proper way to diagnose . I know GM vehicles also had bad stepper motors in the insturment cluster , that give false gauge readings .
Your Water leaking under car, under rear seat area may not be a problem at all , is just water or coolant ? You must have a rear Heat A/C unit . Have you used the rear A/C ? Could be just water from the evaporator case from rear unit .
You mite do well just to have a qualified repair shop check it out .

WHY DOES WHITE SMOKE COMES OUT OF THE SIDE

If it's coming from around carburetor area than you most likely have a blown head gasket. It's building up to much pressure in block and its blowing out your vent tube.

Engine will run for 1 minute then shut off with a cloud of white smoke out the exhaust. i remove and cleaned carb. float is free not binding no improvement

This symptom can indicate several problems, white smoke is usually indicating water in the system, as this is air cooled honda motor, therefore it is not coolant, check oil and check if there is water present in oil sump or in fuel tank.

Water from fuel tank can be easy drained, with fuel, replace then as well fuel filter and clean again carby. add about an ounce of methylated spirit adn fill gas to full, start engine and check if problem still present.

If this did not solved the problem, check oil for presence of water.
Water can seep to oil sump through trans, and as water pump is located directly on the shaft, simmer bearings may load water under pressure to the crancase. If necessary, repalce bearings and seals.

Please let me know if this was correct advice, or you did find other reason for that white smoke.

Oil is usually burning bluish, fuel not fully burned is black.

Hope that this will be just condensation in the tank.

My Troy-Bilt mower starts easily but not as powerful, stays on for less than 5 minutes and gradually stops. some black smoke is coming out

If the black smoke comes out of the muffler, you are burning excess fuel and could have an air filter plugged up to restrict air intake and cause the engine to run rich, therefor black smoke.

Smoke emitted from the engine area

If your oil is turning milky and smoke is coming from the engine check to see if your exhaust smoke is blowing white. If it is, you've got a blown head gasket. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but good luck.

Riding mower engine loud and smoking.

take it to a reputable shop and have them check it over - courage engines had a problem when they first came out - the bolts in the cover plate were not torqued properly and when they come loose, the torque of the engine turning will crack the block - this should be a warranty condition if the block is cracked - just make sure the shop is a kohler warranty station

Oil light comes on and the engine begins to make a knocking sound

how much oil is left in the engine ?
the smoke was probaly oil burning, the knocking could be from low oil pressure, this could be very bad.check the oil and coolant levels and repost and let me know how they are.if any oil shows on the dipstick smell it and see if it smells burnt.
