There is no symbol for a fuse location on my fuse board or in the picture, does my radiator fan just work of a relay, and if so where can I find this relay

Your fan motor runs off the engines temperature sending unit located on the termostat housing. If this sensor is not working, the gauge inside your vehicle will go to hot right away an indication your sensor is faulty. If you disconect the sensor conection from the fan your far should start working..but it will run and never shut off. This means temperature sending unit needs changing.

Where is fuse located

Remove the back panel of the unit. If the fuse replacement blows again as soon as you turn the unit back on, you might have to troubleshoot the power supply. Good luck Mike!

Radio not working, can i remove? is there a inline fuse?

require more information , is the unit not powering up or simply the radio not functioning? fuses are normally located at rear on the unit between 5-10amp , there is a 15amp usually located in the fuse oanel near the steering wheel which if tripped won't provide power to the unit.

Don't work ..............no power or nothing ..........

check the fuses first. There will be a fuse in the car fuse box for "Radio/Stereo" or something similar. Check that one and then check the fuse in the back of the head unit, usually located near where the power cord plugs in. Cheers, Dan

My windows will not work from no control in the truck. Could it be a fuse or something major?

It could very well be a fuse or a circuit breaker which is most likely the case. In the power distribution box located in the engine compartment (see picture below) is one fuse and one circuit breaker. In the number 6 position is a fuse that controls the windows but also controls the audio. If not having probs with the audio there is a 30 amp circuit breaker just for the windows and that is located in the number 62 position. You can see both those positions in the other picture below. I hope this helps you and good luck.

The unit is not functioning. There is mains light indicator but the unit does not respond to operation

The mains indicator is just indicating that your UPS is plugged in to the power source.Try pushing the circuit breaker located at the back of the unit some are located in the front panel and some brands call it "reset"button. If this does not do the job, either have it serviced if under warranty by the manufacturer.Doing the work yourself kinda like disassembling a small engine(meaning-it is hard and also breaks the tab for the warranty). If you open it check for broken fuses(hi-amps fuses),and it is possible you'll change some relays and semiconductors.

No power

The outlet that the unit plugs
into... Is it 'hot'? Plug in a known working Table
Lamp. If you have power, the problem is the unit.
Where the cord goes into the unit, locate the Power
Supply. Carefully check for any cracked, blackened,
or broken components. My educated guess is that
a small fuse blew, as did the Metal Oxide Varristor,
which is either a large blue or red disc shaped component
near the power transformer. If the fuse is blown black
inside the glass, this indicates a short, and would require
an Ohm Meter to locate it. If the fuse is blown so that
the element inside just melted open inside the glass,
this indicates an overloaded condition, and would require
that the fuse be replaced with a rating 1/4 amp greater
than the original fuse. Why? because most fuses are
under rated to insure that they will need service to keep
people like me from starving! Trust me on this one.

good luck!

Where is the main fuse?

Hello :

To locate the fuse, remove the outer cabinet of the unit, which is usually held in place with a few screws. Once the outer cabinet is removed, follow the power cord into the unit. It will take you to the fuse holder, where the fuse sits. The fuse holder is located two or three inches into the unit, and may be attached to a power board .

The picture bellow is showing a blown fuse .

Shuts off then red light indicator flashes, disconnected all speakers but still wont work

Hi, this is a power board issue. remove the cover and make sure that this unit doesn't have blow fuse. if the fuse is fine, you will then need to replace the integrated power/ main board.
