Oven lights inop on Kitchenaid KEHC309JSS06 (bulbs good)

Both oven lights inop, both bulbs are good. Suspect transformer, but not sure where it is located...

There is a transformer in the microwave section of the double oven (item #34 on the Cabinet and Stirrer Parts List), but I don't know if that transformer is the power source for the oven lights.

Is there any way to read out any failure codes from the unit? I cannot find a service manual online.

SOURCE: OVEN will not heat

After reading the above, here is how I fixed my KEBS177DSS9
I pulled out the wall oven from the cabnet. Took off the back tin panel about 10 tin screws. Follow the wire from both heating elements. They are both connected to a thermo fuse. When using the self clean feature this fuse protects the oven from over heating and starting a fire. I put a jumper wire from the hot lead on the left and connected it to the 2 leads on the right side. I turned the power back on and turn the oven on to bake at 350 degrees. Yep It worked like a charm. I bypassed the thermal fuse and used the oven, until the new thermal fuse was ordered. If you have any questions about this fix email me at jodunn5555@aol.com Good luck

SOURCE: OVEN will not heat

KitchenAid KEBC107KSS does not heat hot enough and does not heat evenly. When the temperature is dialed higher, it burns the cookies. When the convection fan is on, it has a 'cooling effect' so the temperature never reaches the proper level. Is this problem repairable? Or is this a thermostat issue? Thank you for your help!

Replace light in KEMC378KSS microwave

The oven lights are 12-volt, 5-watt maximum halogen bulbs. They
will come on when the oven door is opened. On double oven
models, both upper and lower lights will come on when either
door is opened. The oven lights will not work during the Self-
Cleaning cycle. When the oven door is closed, press OVEN
LIGHT to turn them on or off.
To Replace:
Before replacing, make sure the oven is off and cool.
1. Disconnect power.
2. Remove glass light cover by grasping the front edge and
pulling away from oven

How do I change the light in my double oven microwave KEMC308

the light cover at the back of the oven needs to be unscrewed. There is normally 2 or 3 little screws involved. Once it has been removed it's like any other light bulbs, unscrew and change. Make sure to put back the cover tightly in place or the light will burn when the oven turns on.

Hi there it's possible that you are using an incorrect bulb in your oven....ensure on purchasing relacements that these are OVEN Bulbs (these are special bulb to operate at high temperature) ensure that the bulbs are screwed correctly and firmly into the holders and the glass cap is correctly fitted and secure.....

Go to PF when there is none

wshort, As long as you are sure the circuit to the oven is not the problem, such as drop in voltage, here are a couple of suggestions. Number one is that the electronic parts for this model have a five year warranty on them and you may want to call for factory service. Sometimes the connections on the main control board become loose or corroded. Try reseating them and see if the problem stops. If not I would suspect the control board power transformer behind the control board. There are two transformers, one for lights the other for the control board. The control board transformer should have the red and blue wires while the light transformer will have the black and white. The voltage could be dropping out here. Make sure that the wires to the oven terminal block are not loose or burnt. Since you are not receiving any error codes except for PF, Im not suspecting the board itself. Catriver...post back.
