Question about Refrigerators
I'd like to disconnect the annoying "door ajar" alarm on my Kenmore 795 75002401 refrigerator (circa 2005). Sears helpline tells me it can't be done, and that there's no switch anywhere. After changing some settings at the back of the fridge, I failed to find a way. This loud beep drives me crazy when I need to keep the fridge door(s) open for longer than 10 seconds!
Of course you can disable the alarm - depending if you're handy or not.
If you remove the main PCB ASSEMBLY, you can de-solder the piezo making the noise and remove it from the board.
Be careful - however - as this is a $215 controller board :D
