Question about Acer Veriton 7500G PC Desktop
This is my friends computer. I was doing a windows update when my internet crashed. As a result i can no longer access the computer. It's an acer veriton 7500g desktop. Start up screen has press delete - setup, f12 - boot menu.
Have a few problems with this:-
When i put the recovery disk in i get the following message - the following file is missing or corrupted A:\RAMDRIVE.SYS. There is an error in your CONFIG.SYS file on line 6.
Veifying DMI pool data, disk boot failure insert system disk and press enter.
When i try to re install windows xp i get the message no harddrive is detected.
Ive changed the first boot to cd and in the cmos features ive got auto detect selected for hard drive but have also tried manual but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
