Question about Dell Inspiron 1100 Notebook
Heyo, last night my buddy put in a new router with password protection (our neighbors were stealing off of us). since then, i've tried to connect to our wireless and get on firefox/ie.
i've got the correct network name, correct password and both the window's client and my intel wireless client tell me that i AM connected. yet whenever i turn on a browser, it gives me the "looking for" status and won't load web pages. however my roommate's computer works just fine! what's the deal?
Depending on the browser you are using, go to tools>internet options and make sure that there are no proxy settings inserted in your browser to connect. removing all previous settings might just help. Also try right clicking on the wireless connection icon go to properties and check in tcp/ip settings if you have entered any settings. if there are any settings, remove them and try connecting to the internet.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
