Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

May be you have placed the game wrong..
ISO and CSO should go in the x:\ISO folder in the root directory. In the same level where x:\PSP folder is at. If you dont have an ISO folder just make one. Also take note that unless your PSP has a custom firmware installed you can't play pirated games.
Video files should be located in the x:\VIDEO folder.
Mp3 are placed in the x:\MUSIC folder
images are placed in the x:\PICTURE folder.

I cant play games in my psp memory stick after i updated to 5.2

Please check you update. If your update is low, you must upgrade it to 3.52 m33 then download a firmware 3.70 m33 or higher to get the m33 recovery.
As your PSP start press SELECT and you can see a menu then go to "UMD ISO MODE" from "normal" change it to "Sony NP9660" then exit.
Now enjoy playing ISO or CSO game. Happy playing.

Psp won't read games

If you can't read ISO/CSO Files, that either means that you didn't download correctly or that you didn't place them in the ISO folder of your memory stick. If you can't play UMD games and you have custom firmware, make sure "execute boot.bin" and plain modules" are disabled under the recovery menu. If you have official firmware, you can't play ISO/CSO games unless you have Devhook. If you have official firmware and you can't read UMD games, then it's probably your lens.

First Tell me about your PSP firmware Version. If its a orginal SONY firmware you can't play the games from the memory stick. If you are in custom firmware follow this procedure.

1.press the SELECT button so you will get the M33 VSH MENU

CPU Clock XMB - Default
CPU Clock GAME - Default
USB Device - Memory Stick
UMD ISO MODE - Sony NP9660
ISO VIDEO MOUNT - NONE

Make sure that its showing as per the above values. if not change it to the above values.

If still the problem continues check these too..

Go to the recovery menu.>>> configuration >>> Game folder homebrew (currently: 3.XX or 4.XX kernel)

if its showing 1.50 change it to 3.xx or 4.xx

also

Go to Recovery >> Advanced >> Advanced Configuration
and make sure that both the options are Disabled.....

PSP Error 80020148 when playing FIFA 08 UMD

alright turn off your psp by holding down the power switch for atleast five seconds. when it is turned off hold down the right trigger (the R1 button) then at the same time hold down the power switch button to get to the recovery menu. after that go to configuration then somewhere amongst all of the displayed lines one of them should either say no umd or umd required toward the end of the text. if it says umd required change it to where it says no umd. then go back and go to advance then advance configuration and disable all and this should solve your problem. hope i helped.
