316.79108. What is the proper gap for the sparkplug?

The gaps are 99% preset... Get a E3 spark plug, they cover multiple part number plugs. For example, if you have a BPMR6Y, a BPMR7Y, RCJ6, etc, one of the E3 plugs will cover them all and will already be gapped accordingly. If your equipment isn't running smoothly, it's most definitely not the gap of the plug... unless you're working on a pre 95 vehicle.

I have a Ryobi 430 4 stroke weed wacker try to start this morning seems like it was frozen up took spark plug out pull the string free flow rotates easy put spark plug back in very hard to start fraid I'm...

Paul you might want to replace the spark plug, make sure the gap on the plug is correct, make sure there is oil in the machine, some have a safety switch when the oil is low. If you cant buy a new spark plug you can sand off the tip that is probably black and replace it in the machine
