HEY MURALI60 DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET

IM DVD MIKE. #1 CREATE A RESTORE POINT, BACKING UP YOUR FILES WOULD BE BETTER.

#2 YOU HAVE SOME VIRUSES!! RUN AN ENTIRE SCAN, WITH A GOOD ANTI-VIRUS PROGRAM. (IF YOU HAVE MCAFEE THRU YOUR ISP, IT MAY BE USELESS RIGHT NOW.)

#3 VERIFY THAT THERE ARE NO VIRUS THREATS!! NOW PERFORM DISK CLEAN-UP AND DEFRAGMENT YOUR HARD DRIVE

#4 RE-INSTALL YOUR GOOD ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM.
#5 SET YOUR FIREWALL AND POP-UP BLOCKER AND AUTOMATIC UPDATES TO ON

#5 IF YOUR SYSTEM IS SLOW,
YOU MAY HAVE TO UPGRADE YOUR RAM.

#6 iF YOU ARE GOOD WITH YOUR HANDS, YOU CAN OPEN YOUR UNPLUGGED COMPUTER AND GET RID OF THE DUST OFF OF THE ALL OF THE FAN BLADES, AND ALL OF THE INSIDES OF THE COMPUTER.(CANNED AIR OR A SMALL NOZZLE VACUUM.) THAT INCREASES AIR FLOW AND DECREASES HEAT INSIDE.

THATS IT BASED ON THE LIMITED INFORMATION THAT YOU PROVIDED.

GOOD LUCK

DVD MIKE

Good Moring,
I have seen this behaviour in computers with virus (maleware) you can try the following
1)start your antivirus while log in safe mode and run a full scan
if virus is found remove it and start windows normally run a full scan afterwards
2) if no antivirus is install, i would recomend you to reinstall the OS

Pc hanging

Scan your PC with a good antivirus like avast which support boot scan;it will solve your problem if it is caused virus, worm or malware.

Sometimes system hangs when a porgram start to load during bootup too.
for troubleshooting this, boot your system in sfae mode during startup by pressing F8.Click "start" then "Run" type "msconfig" select "startup" tab untick all the program and restart your system.

PC hangs or reboots due to overheating of the CPU.It is caused by dust and dirt contamination inside.open the system and blow it with a small air blower.

Intel Desktop bord D845GVSR with Windows XP

If your system hangs up, instead of re-starting it hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete and then click on End Program. As far as your Desktop Board go to www.microsoft.com and type in Hardware Compatibility List. There will be a listing of the hardware that is compatible with Windows XP. It may not be compatible that is why it is hanging up.

Don't forget to vote on this solution before you log out.

Hangs up

Did you notice that the computer started freezing after you have installed any software or any type of hardware to the computer. If yes, then uinstall the software or remove the hardware and the drivers and check.

You may also try to do a system restore prior to the date you started having problems with the computer.

If not, then back up all you data and reinstall the OS.
