Question about ASUS Eee PC 701 Notebook
I have a Eee PC 701 SD. I can turn on the laptop but once it's on nothing is displaying on the screen. I tried every button possible but nothing works.
I have the same problem the light at the bottem to come on but when i attached a external monitor nothing still came up
so im not sure if it is booting up if it is not what shall i do

Its possible that the LED light that illuminates the screen is dead. If you look very closely can you make out any information on the screen or is it absolutely black? If you can see text or Windows, then its likely the backlight.
If you cant, try plugging an external monitor in to see if it is even booting. Also look at the HDD light (bottom right of the keyboard) to see if it flickers on and off while starting. If there are no lights, then you may have a dead unit... Get er fixed.
