I want to fix my network controler, the driver is lost

Go to start. Type in box device manager. Click on Device Manager in the list. Click on Network Adapters. Right click on network controller. Click on Update driver. OR you can uninstall the driver turn off the computer then turn it back on so it can reinstall.
Personally I would try the update driver. Make sure you click on: "Search automatically for updated driver software."

How to fix laptop with no sound

First make sure your volume level is all up.

If still no sound, go to control panel / device manager and check if your sound controller has no errors.

Reinstall your sound driver. You can find it in the disc that came along with your laptop. If you lost it, just download it in the website of your laptop's manufacturer.

Thanks for using Fixya!

.pgI lost my sound from

Hello,

Please make sure that the sound is not in mute. If it's unmute and still has no sound, try to uninstall and reinstall the audio driver. Drivers are located in device manager. Simply type device manager on the search box to find it. In the device manager, expand the sound video and game controller category, usually the audio driver is the realtek high definition audio driver or smart audio. Uninstall the driver and restart the laptop to take effect the changes. Restarting the laptop will automatically reinstall the audio driver. Test the sound.

Hope this works.

I have lost sound of my compaq laptop.how can i install sound from intenet freely

Go to start, click on control panel, click on device manager, go down and click on sound, video and game controllers. Click on one of the audio devices and click on driver tab and choose update driver. If that doesnt work, go on BIOS and find out which sound card you have and try to download a driver from the makers site.
