My kitchen aid oven stopped working. The stovetop and LED readout Control Panel works fine. The convection oven and broiler do not work. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the "hard reboot" (e.g. unplug for several minutes then plug it back in)? I have a GE Profile oven that I need to do that with periodically otherwise it keeps the oven door locked!

Ge oven jtp18 elements won't heat

The limit switch in a Ge oven usually works or is blown. I would look at the oven sensor located at the back of the oven. It should read approximately 1k ohm at room temperature.

Baking, oven beeps and flashing F2 on readout, what does this mean?

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today. F2 means temp exceeds 590 with door unlocked or interference with sensor. Most likely a bad oven sensor..I would replace oven sensor.

GE Profile gas range - stove works, oven doesn't heat

Set the oven for bake. Wait a couple minutes and look in the oven. If you see a orange glow the ignitor is working, but, may need to be replaced.
If you see no orange glow the ignitor definitely needs to be replaced.

Advantium readout flashing

I would say it is a sign of trouble.

Not to say that it's catastrophic, but on these models part can be pretty expensive.

We regularly repair such control units for customers nationwide by mail for in about a week with a one-year guarantee.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number) for more information & help.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

GE Profile Wall Oven Model JCKP16GS-1

It sounds like this is a common occurance among GE ovens.
Shut off the power at the box, then remove faceplate then remove the keypad.
after doing so, remove it from connector, and clean pins with an eraser.
Make sure the terminals are clean of debris, and check for a reset button on the back of the keypad.
I hope this helped you out.
