Check radio surround to make sure it is not the wrong way around. This is just the plastic trim around the actual face of the radio. On a pioneer one side is grooved down to alow radio display to open. if its wrong way round it wont let face down whole way. it simply clicks off and turns around.

I put a cd in the player, and now it wont eject

Most players have a manual eject. You have to take the radio out of the dash then remove the face plate. There should be a pin hole or something somewhere to force the ejector. Normally it's a pin hole and you can insert a very small screw driver or a paperclip in and as you push it forces the ejector back causing the **** to come out once the **** is out far enough you can pull it out.

I own an HP530 PC ... it has a DVD driver of a HItachi model. I inserted a cd in it , now it won't open and does not recognize the inserted CD ... what can I do ?

as far as getting the CD out there should be a small pinhole on the face plate of the CD drive if you take a paper clip and poke it in the pinhole it will manually eject the disk. i would suggest rebooting and see if a reboot after ejecting the disk may fix the problems that your having.

Cd drive has disk in it and wont open

Look closely on the face plate and around the face plate of the CD drive. (better to have good flash light/Torch while doing this). Close to the eject button (Or around that area) there will be a very small hole (pin hole). Switch off your computer if it is powered. Push a needle or a safety pin into this hole. Take care to push it in straight (not angled). If it does not open in the first attempt repeat changing the angle slightly. May take 3 or 4 tries. But you can definitely get it opened.

My Dual XDM7615, will not even shut off and no buttons will work at all, it wont open or change stations and only plays radio on a station that sounds like AM,remote controll has new battery and wont even...

unplug the reciver from the back of it and wait for 20 sec. and plug it back in, this should allow you to eject. now turn off your car and jush eject, when it opens to eject's push the release button on the back of the face like your removing it but instead force the face to completely go down, as far as it will go. now turn your car on and put a cd in and see if that works for ya.

I got a Alpine cda-9851 cd player today. I popped the face plate off to see where the cd goes in, but theres not a slot for it! Do i have to have a 6 disk changer for it?

this is a motorized deck. just press the eject button and it should open. the eject button should be on the lower right hand corner of the face.

When you push the "open" button, do you hear anything, such as the tray trying to open? Feel any motion? Are you getting any power to the unit?

Phillips DVD+RW burner on Dell computer won't eject

You will find a small hole on the face of the drive. This is the manual eject mechanism. Insert any wire-like object (a properly sized size paper clip works real well) and push until the disk ejects.

Note: Many times the mechanism is recessed quite far behind the face plate, so make sure the object you use is long enough (again, paper clip).
