Can not down load ringtone with usb cable go to my music list not ringtone list and put bluetooth on computer but need passkey to pair

A code, like 1234 could be used to pair it with your computer. You only have to press that 4 digit code on both devices, and you're done.

Your computer is full of potential free ringtones for your Samsung T229 (also known as Samsung SGH-t229, T-mobile t229) :
By Bluetooth:
The Samsung t229 is Bluetooth-enabled. Bluetooth is a wireless system which lets you connect your cell phone to computers, headsets, car kits, etc. If your computer is also Bluetooth-enabled, simply establish a connection between both devices and transfer your music files from your computer to your Samsung t229.
Simply record sound directly:
Since your Samsung t229 has a sound recorder (also known as "voice memo"), a very simple technique involves simply placing your phone near your computer's speakers, playing whatever music or sound you would like as a ringtone, and recording it -- you can even use your voice, your child's voice or even your cat's "meow!" Record it with your mobile and there you go! Unless that function was specifically blocked on the Samsung t229, you should be able to navigate to the ringtones section and choose your new recording as a ringtone. Of course, the quality will not be ideal but, after all, it's free!

How do I take my music from my Music Player and put it as my noral ringtones?

you can't do that, exactly. A ringtone can only be a specified amount of time. You can go to and find a ringtone you like and have it sent to your phone (standard text messaging rates apply), or you can make your own ringer on your computer and save it to your MicroSD card and load it that way.

I downloaded three ringtones. They show up in my library, but not in the Ringtone section. And, of course, they don't show up on the iPhone. HELP, please. Also, even though I'm using the same computer for...

The reason why this happens is because, iPhone only accepts .m4r file types as ringtones.

You don't really need to pay for ringtones anymore, jsut follow my instructions here in FixYa and you'll be making your own ringtones using your own songs from iTunes music library.

Need to know hot to get a ringtone off a memory card to a lg rumor phone.

i dont know exactly about the rumor, but this is usually a two step process, depending on the phone. If you already have music on the SD card, you need to go to your music files and select the one you want as a ringtone, then pull the menu up (the equivalent of right-clicking on a computer) by probably pressing the menu button when on the selected song. There should be a command that basically is " set this as a ringtone", which you should then select and accept.
Now depending on your phone, you might not even have to do this first step. You can go to either the phone menu, where you should access where you go to configure ringtones, idk if its sounds, phone, theme, whichever one. Here, the song you chose should appear along with the default ringtones that came with the phone. Hope this helps, hit me up if you still can't get it.

Unable to upload my own ringtones from my computer

If you have the music on your computer you can send it in a message to the phone and then open the message and apply it as "use as ring tone". Or if you have an old phone that allows you to down load it to the phone directly, then you can send it from that phone in a message to the other phone, open and apply as "ring tone".

Bluetooth down loads to ringtones

hello, wel if you already recieved it remember this cellphone has some 'conditions' in order for a ringtone to be accepted. it only takes mp3 and they MUST have the following chars:

8kHz (frecuency)
64Kbps (binary index)
MP3 (file format)
1 mono (channel)

then you gotta save it under the Audio section (not music) and just set it as a ringtone. It must appear on your ringtone list once it has passed the conditions. If you saved it on your MiniSD card then you need to either copy it to the phone Or enable the option thru a service application. Hope this helps.

Can't get ringtones

Hello Krazdago,

The V9 doesn't support third party mp3's to be applied as ringtones. It seems to be some "piracy" type security.

It can play mp4's though. You'll need to convert your music to mp4's. You should be able to apply them as ringtones then.

Hope this helps,
