Good evening, Josephine!
Sorry that you're having this issue. I highly doubt someone has taken your account over unless your password was something really simple. If you cannot log in because of the ID, I would visit the following link and try either the "help" link or the other one listed. :)
There are several possible reasons why we cannot see of some user's ID with the naked eyes:
a) He/she, is a trained hacker!
b) Perhaps we have set the YM to hide any "Offline" users? Which means if some active users went "Invisible", they are consider offline too, & thus, their IDs nor Nickname will not appear in the lists.
Try these steps:1) Try clicking on " Contact " at the top of Yahoo! Messenger's list screen.
2) When it pop-down, move your cursor to the " Show/Hide ".
3) Make sure " Offline Contacts " & " Address Book Contacts" are selected.
If it works, & you wish to banned the user, follow advices from this link:
http://help.yahoo.com/tutorials/msweb/msw/msw_im4.html **P/s: Let us hope that she was not that advance, or else I have to provide with more delicately advance solutions =') . Good Luck!
Hi i hope
1)someone might have hacked your id and changed your password,
2)whether you might have told user id and password to someone else
3)probably you should check capslock or others while logging
4)type full firstname.lastname@example.org or .co.xxx
5)Another might be server problem from yahoo
6)Suggestions have included going back to Classic Mail, using Firefox or Google's Chrome browser instead of Internet Explorer, updating the Flash and Java programs, and clearing History and cookies please go through this you can find the solution better, hope this might help you, please go through this carefullyhttp://www.webdevelopersnotes.com/tips/yahoo/yahoo-mail-problems.php thank you
Here are the steps to use web cam on MSM:-
Log in to your account at the MSN Web site.
Locate the "Webcam" icon underneath your display picture.
Click the "Webcam" icon.
Select "Send My Webcam" to the person that you want to send your video to.
Wait for your chat partner to accept your Webcam invitation. Once he or she accepts it, your live video feed will begin.
Finish sending the video feed by clicking the "Webcam" icon once again.
Open the MSN Messenger program on your computer.
Show or Hide Your Webcam
Open MSN Messenger on your computer.
Click the "Tools" menu and then select "Options" from the drop-down list.
Locate the "Personal" link and click it with your mouse.
Find the "My Webcam" area and either select or de-select next to where it says "Allow Others to See That I Have a Webcam." This is handy for letting those in your chat list know whether you can have a video chat with them--whether or not they have Webcams.
Good luck, do rate the solution if got help
Well, it's very easy for you to use a web camera. First you have to
decide how do you want to use it.. means you can use it for video
chatting through Paltalk, Yahoo messenger, MSN messenger, Skype etc.
For video chat you will need to install it in your PC.
To install first connect the web cam with PC. Insert the installation
CD in CD/DVD-ROM, run Setup.exe and install it. Once setup is
successfully completed you may need to restart the PC.
Now open and sign in your chat client (MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger,
Gtalk messenger, AOL etc.) For example: If you want to start share your
web cam in Yahoo messenger, just Login with your ID and password....click on Messenger choose option My Webcam. One warning message will appear...click OK....your webcam will start....Now if you want to invite someone to view your webcam, simply click on his/her ID and open IM window....click on Actions, choose More Actions from down of the list....and click on Invite to view my webcam....if he/she accepts your invitation...he/she will able to see you....again if you want to see someone who having Webcam....open the IM window by clicking his/her ID.... follow option Actions > More Actions and click on View webcam....yahoo will send the request to him/her...if he/she accept your request....you will able to see him/her....
For MSN messenger....sign in to your messenger and click on Actions and from list choose option Video and click on Show my webcam to view your webcam to others from your contact list.....or click on Start a video call to start video chat.....
To see others webcam click on View a contact's webcam....if the person accept your webcam....you will able to see his/her webcam....
Same to other chat client too...just little different in options....
I think you can get it easily...

All the best
I have used Zak's nobuddy before - it has been updated to work with yahoo's newest protocols.
Test: (A) I have 2 yahoo ID's - I added each to the other: (B) I use Yahoo Messenger version 22.214.171.1242 (C) I was invisible mode at all times on each ID
1 I then got this zak nobuddy to remove one from the other: 2 It worked (although it left no message - I was simply gone). 3 I then performed the normal add request - this too worked fine and I was added again as soon as ID2 accepted.
You say it's blocked from your contact list: I would check from messengers menu bar messenger/ preferences/ ignore list and see if your friends ID is in there.
Check your yahoo mail id properly. Go to the 'My account" page and confirm your mail id whether its yahoo.com or yahoo.co.in or yahoo.co.uk or whatever. Then try sending to the right mail id which will let you recieve mails.
