I just got a Razr V3 and when I turn it on it starts blinking on and off. I want to know what I can do to stop it. Could there be something wrong with my battery or what else could it be?
It sounds like a stuck button to me since you said there's no signs of liquid damage. I used to diagnose and repair cell phones. With the phone off, just press every button in various angles [instead of straight down]. I hold the phone like Im talking on it, then use my thumb to rotate it around the menu navigation buttons. I would focus on the buttons used to navigate through the menu, then move to the other buttons. Power phone on and test it out. If this doesn't work, then its probably a software glitch as Razr phones are known to have those from time to time. I would then go back to where you got the phone and have them replace it under warranty if you got it within the year. If they won't for whatever reason, get a hold of Motorola and make them repair/replace it under their warranty [as they are the ones who warranty it for a year anyways]. Most cellular companies have policies to exchange defective phone out if within manufacturing [This case Motorola's] warranty.

It just keeps blinking from the white screen to the home screen and when I go into the menu it starts scrolling through the choices by itself.
By the way it did not show signs of water damage.
Okay I will try that.
Hi everyone i have a problem with my phone its not turning on and the keypad keeps on blinking while the screen remains black and i dont know if its the battery or the keypad or the charge..can someone pls help me
what do you see on the screen when it starts and shuts off? How long does this do this power cycle problem? Is it continual until battery dies or is taken out? Or just one time through? This could be a software glitch, liquid damage, or possibly a button sticking. You can check for liquid damage by taking out the battery and looking to see if the liquid indicator has changed colors [some are white and turn pink when getting wet. Others have pink +'s on white sticker that bleed the whole white sticker pink, etc]. If neither of those indicators are used, let me know what stickers you see under the battery and/or even on the battery.
I would take the phone to whereever you bought it and have them replace it under manufacture's warranty. This wont be an option though if the liquid indicators show liquid damage.
