Sounds like you have a case of "stuck shocks". There is such thing and they have to either be driven over a speed bump or something similar to see if they will come down. I'm sure they are riding very "stiff" and uncomfortable. If that doesn't do it, they will then need replacing. I hope this gets you straightened out, John 3:16-17 (KJV)
On back side of the steering wheel are 2 openings, place the wheel so that one opening is on top.
Using a blunt-ended tool, push the spring fastener inward through the access hole. Repeat the step for the other opening.
Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Assembly
Tip
Release the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Fully deploy the module before disposal. If the module was replaced under warranty, fully deploy and dispose of the module after the required retention period. Refer to Inflator Module Handling and Scrapping.
I have the BP760 model so I'm not entirely sure what the functionality differences would be. However from time to time I have had issues with the cuff not inflating. It is usually one of two things: the cuff is not positioned snugly enough on the arm (I have a skinny arm and sometimes need to enlist the help of a family member). The other time it has happened was when the inflation tube itself with so kinked and twisted that air could not flow through. You should also check to make sure that the inflation tube in securely connected to the unit. So make sure that the air supply from the cuff to the unit is not obstructed, and that the arm cuff is positioned properly and that you are not trying to put the cuff on over clothing. If you've checked all of this and/or you receive the error message of "Er", you should contact customer service. Hope this helps.
mine is doing the same it gets twisted cutting off the air supply. I unwind it and lubed it but it continues to happen. there seems to be some sort of spring on the inside at the based. i'm thinking of cutting the tie straps and seeing whats inside...
