Question about Maytag Dependable Care LAT9706
With lid open all lights work. If I shut the lid the lid fuse blows. Lights still work. I took the wires off of the lid switch and tested it with an ohlm meter. It appears to be fine. No fried wires, no weird smell. Any other ideas?
You might want to test the inlet valves for a very low resistance reading or a dead short Also check the motor etc for a short to earth using a Insulation Tester. Does it pop the fuse while it's meant to be filling up or while it should be spinning or washing? Cheers
