Question about Dell Latitude D820 Notebook
I can be typing a sentence in any application and the cursor will not move with the words I'm typing. As I continue to type my characters are placed in the middle of words typed previously. I also have noticed I can't always get the cursor to move with the mouse. (I can be in the middle of doing something and my pc won't respond but I find the real issue is that the cursor is somewhere else on the screen and many times not even inside the window I'm working on.) HELP!!
Hi, your first problem (and possibly second problem) sounds like it's the "Insert" function on your keyboard. I've seen this a lot. Find the Insert key on your keyboard. It's normally off to the right side with the Home, End, Page Up, and Page Down keys. When you have the problem, press the Insert key and then keep typing. It should toggle between the cursor moving with typing, and not. If this was helpful, please rate my response. Thanks!
