That's okay, you won't need the CD. Just go to Dell.com/Support.

For your sound driver, go down to -> Audio, and click on the + sign next to it. Then go over to the right, and click on -> Download Now
<- in blue. A small window will pop up, click on Save File.

If you do not have your downloads set to download to your My Documents folder, (Start>My Documents), this will go to your desktop screen. It will be a yellow folder. Double-click on it, and follow the instructions. If you get a Microsoft 'Squawk box',
(Warning! This file ya-da, ya-da, and so on), ignore it, and click on Run. Click on Run again.

If it doesn't ask you to restart your computer, do so anyway.

Access: http://www.compaq.com/support
and do a search for 'Presario 700'.
Select 'Device Drivers'.
Select 'XP'.
Select the "audio" and the "video" device-drivers.
Download & install them.

Ihave a new vision computer that came with the logitech speakers. I have 3 plugins side by side at bottom of back of computer. I plugged in the green to the green but I do not get sound. Please help


May be problem is not with the speakers if you connected properly.
If you connected power cable properly and LED is on, Then there may be a problem with the drivers.
Check if the audio drivers are installed or not. If not install the drivres by using the mother board CD.
